Obituary for William Stahlin

William J. Stahlin, 83, of East Rutherford for 46 years, passed away at home on September 20, 2017. Mr. Stahlin served in the U.S. Army. William was a parishioner of St. Josephs’ R.C. Church, a 30 year member of the choir and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4524, 3rd Degree. For over 30 years, he was a draftsman for Westinghouse Electric in Jersey City. Husband of the late Marilynn A. (nee Cashin) Stahlin. Father of Laura J. Stahlin and Karen G. Carrier and her husband Jeff. Grandfather of Madison Grace Carrier. Brother of June Stahlin. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 10:30 AM. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Arrangements Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.
