Obituary for Giovannina Micco (DeMarco)

Giovannina Micco (nee DeMarco), 89, of East Rutherford for 56 years, passed away on December 15, 2017. Mrs. Micco was born in Italy and came to the U.S.A. in 1961. She was a homemaker and loved to cook especially Sunday dinners. She was a giving person, devoted to her family and her door was always open to anyone. Giovannina was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni Micco. Loving mother of Dominick Micco, Rosa Zeppetelli, Angelina Veccia and John Micco. Cherished grandmother of eight grandsons, two granddaughters and great grandmother of four great grandchildren. Dear sister of Nicolina DeMarco and the late Maria DeMarco. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
