Obituary for Rose Solimini (Azzolini)

Rose Solimini (nee Azzolini), 88, of Carlstadt for over 50 years, passed away on December 16, 2017. She was born in Hoboken. For over 10 years she worked for Grobet in Carlstadt and retired at the age of 62. Rose was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, a member of the Carlstadt Senior Friendship Club and a member and Past President of the Carlstadt V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 3149. Rose loved to dance, enjoyed listening to music and shopping. Beloved wife of the late Damiano O. Solimini. Loving mother of Felicia Solimini, Joseph C. Solimini and his wife Jennifer and Annette Amoroso and her husband Joseph. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Amoroso, Angela Amoroso and Joseph D. Solimini. Dear sister of the late Salvatore Azzolini, Vincenzo “Jimmy” Azzolini and Catherine Nisler. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carlstadt Volunteer Ambulance Corps., P.O. Box 84, Carlstadt, NJ 07072.
