The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Venturini can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Don Reason
Condolence: It certainly was my pleasure and good fortune to have had the opportunity to know George for about 15 years while we resided in Carlstadt. I always admired his many talents from the miniature fire engine he designed and built on a Volkswagon chassis to his amazing paintings(a talent he discovered later in life). George and I kept in touch even though we left Carlstadt in 1975 because of a job opportunity for me in Florida. Whenever business trips brought me to the NYC area I managed to pop-in (unannounced) to just say hello. In fact, on one
occasion I knocked on his front door and he turned white when he saw me. His words were "you are not going to believe this" as he grabbed my arm and led me to a room where he was doing a painting sitting on an easel. The painting was of my fireman's coat and helmet. I am fortunate to have three of his wonderful artworks. He was an amazingly talented individual. I shall miss him! MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY!

Condolence From: Gordon N. Blair
Condolence: Dear Venturini Family,

George was an inspiration to me and other young folks who lived in the 13th Street area of Carlstadt during the 1940's and 1950's. He was always doing "something" whether flying model planes, hunting ducks, or working on cars. There was always something interesting going on with him! He loved and cherished every minute of life.

When I learned of his passing I was saddened, but I knew that there was probably nothing he had missed out on, here on Earth.
I always found George to be an open welcoming cheerful person, and a pleasure to be around. I especially admired his spirit of adventure. It was contagious. I will miss him.

My deepest condolences to the entire Venturini Family.
