Jacob Samuel Williams, 19, of Secaucus, passed away on July 13, 2019. Beloved son of Joseph C. Williams and Latanya D. (nee Oubichon) Williams. Loving brother of Isaac B. Williams. Cherished grandson of Joan O. Condoll and the late Lionel J. Oubichon and Jeraline Williams and the late Joseph Williams, Sr. and Amanda V. Williams. Dear nephew of Tomeka Oubichon, Joseph Condoll, Jr., Kelly Condoll, Andrea Johnson, Julius and La Kenya Kellum, Nedra Stallworth, Lilliene Cook, Maurice Cook and the late Jock Oubichon. Grand nephew of Betty McGhee, Eloise and Walter Morgan, and the late Doris Cook. Also survived by many cousins. Jacob was a great son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. Everyone knew him as an extremely thoughtful and generous young man with an old soul. He was quiet, but quite a jokester. Jacob enjoyed baking, bowling, gaming with friends and playing with his dog, Riggs. He was an Eagle Scout, Sea Scout, and Venturer. Earlier this year, after completing a program in Culinary Arts, Jacob received his ServSafe certificate, from the National Restaurant Association, which allowed him to be a ServSafe Manager and Food Handler. Although he was only 19 years old, he was wise beyond his years. He fought a brave fight against cancer and is no longer bound to this earth and its woes nor living in sickness and pain. As a believer who accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord, he is now in a glorified body and completely healed in heaven. We thank God for Jacob's life and how he quietly affected those he encountered. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 PM.
